Winter Running

Winter can be a rough time for many of us. We kick it off with the holiday season. Whether it is time away with family or the excess caloric intake, ok both for many of us, the best part of winter is not the most conducive to great running. Fot those coming off of fall marathons, it might not be a big deal, but it can set the tone for the rest of the winter months. Once we get late into December, winter really starts setting in. For many of us, it is cold, little daylight, slick, snowy, and just overall rough conditions. Don’t lose hope! A consistent winter with emphasis on effort over pace can lead to a great spring and summer of racing! Here are two posts I have done on winter running:
