Hi, I’ve been currently doing the 12 week HM plan and am ending my next to last week tomorrow with a 6x 800 workout at HM pace. What is weird is throughout the plan anytime I had a run/workout at HM pace it was 8:30-8:36 which is seemingly accurate for an 8:32 goal pace. This final workout at “HM pace” is now having the pace at 8:05-8:29 pace. I’m just curious why the “change” in determining HM pace at this point. I’m assuming there is a reason but I’m just am not sure currently the reason. Thank you!!

Check the structured workout, it might be accidentally set to “speed” or LT.

Thanks Luke. Within the structure it said “@Lactate Threadhold/strength” . I ran it at those quicker paces and actually didn’t feel pushed at all. But just in case I only did 5 instead of 6 if those paces weren’t correct. Just for future reference, should it have just said “@Half Marathon” for this particular round? Thanks again!

At that stage, it should be half marathon pace.

Thanks! I’ll make a note of that when I use this plan again! Cheers!
