Adapt for heat or change day of workout?
Hello,
I am doing the 12 week 40-50 mpw half marathon plan from Final Surge. Race day is next Sunday. My only/last SOS type run this coming week is scheduled for Tuesday. Lactate threshold, 6x800m at goal HM pace with 400m recovery.
My question: Tuesday is supposed to be very hot and even in the morning it won’t get under 75-77. I will run very early for best temps. Should I switch dates, adapt paces or try to do as written and adapt as needed? Thank you!
