Coach Josh Eberly

6 x World USA qualifier including a 2004 World Cross Country Championship team in Brussels, Belgium. Josh came out of high school running a 10:10 2 mile, 17:45 5k and a 4:34 mile to becoming a 9 time All American, 3 time runner-up ( 5k indoor, 5k outdoor, 2002 Cross Country ) and a 10k individual champion. Josh can accredit all of his accomplishments to his work ethic, knowledge of the sport and positive attitude.

After college, Josh went on to run for the professional running team Hanson’s Brook Distance Project. There he continued to learn and adapt from the best – learning about different ways to train and what worked for his body type. The never give up attitude from Brian Sell, his good friend, roommate and 2008 Olympian in the marathon, will stay with him forever and be instilled upon the athletes that he coaches.

Josh moved onward after three years in Michigan to Gunnison, Colorado – his alma-mater, where he currently runs for Brooks Running. Last year he ran a personal record in the half marathon (1:04:08) and marathon (2:18:11). He continues to excel in his own running and wants to help others do the same. He is currently an Head Trail Coach at Western State Colorado University – Mountain Sports.
