Luke, You mentioned it depends on what I’m wanting. I think that’s another way I’m lost or unsure of what’s possible. I really enjoy running and I enjoy competing so I wanna be faster at all distances. I will take your advice to start training for different race distances at different times of the year.
I would love to get in the high teens for half marathon and sub 18 5k. It’s kind of a pipe dream. My most recent was 1.28.37 at 47 years old. I would think it would require couching to make those kinds of improvements. But is it possible and would it look like long term training at different races distances while adding easy mileage?
